Alignerr is seeking a senior full‑stack Python engineer to design and optimize data pipelines, annotation tooling, and evaluation systems for AI workflows. This fully remote hourly contract offers 20–40 hours per week and the chance to impact production AI infrastructure used by leading labs.

You will collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams, tackle performance bottlenecks, and ensure robust error reporting across large‑scale Python systems.

Formación

• 3–5+ years of professional experience writing production‑grade Python.
• Strong full‑stack developer with a solid systems programming background.
• Clean, maintainable code — linters, formatters, and testing frameworks are second nature.
• Experience integrating AI services and APIs, handling edge cases, and building robust error reporting.
• Clear communicator — both in writing and in synchronous discussions.
• Native or fluent English speaker; available to commit 20–40 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance Python systems supporting AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows.
• Develop full‑stack tooling and backend services for large-scale data annotation, validation, and quality control.
• Improve reliability, performance, and safety across existing Python codebases.
• Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training and evaluation workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and edge cases in data and system behavior, then implement scalable fixes.
• Participate in synchronous design reviews to iterate on architecture and implementation decisions.
