Job summary

Programmers.io seeks an experienced Python Embedded Engineer to join our remote team. You will work on Python-driven firmware/BIOS/BMC interactions, hardware validation, and system-level debugging across NPI programs.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams, build test scripts for execution and environment setup, and contribute to scalable automation. Requires 8+ years of hands-on embedded Python experience; remote PST work, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Python.
• Understanding of in-band vs out-of-band management (BMC, Redfish, IPMI, etc.).
• Ability to handle large-scale hardware validation and test execution.
• Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and log analysis.
• Ability to build scripts for test execution, environment setup, and log analysis.
• Strong understanding of server hardware architecture.
• Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Proficient with PowerShell script-based development for automation.
