We welcome self-taught developers, bootcamp graduates, and career changers, with no degree required. Compensation up to $110,000 with cash and equity considerations, plus adaptable scheduling.

Qualifications

• Shipped real backend code in Python frameworks (Django/Flask/FastAPI).
• Design RESTful endpoints with authentication and JSON handling.
• Understand relational databases (SQL) and version control (Git).
• Able to read and extend existing Python codebases without full context.
• Self-directed learner who asks for help efficiently and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain APIs written in Python.
• Own backend features including data models, business logic, integrations, and background tasks.
• Fix backend bugs and ship fixes promptly.
• Write unit and integration tests that travel with the codebase.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from others' PRs.
