Job summary

Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. seeks qualified linguists to support current and future foreign language and linguistic requirements.

Roles include interpretation, translation, transcription, and other Linguistic Support Services for government contracts and clients. Responsibilities may include in-person or virtual interpretation, translation of written/audio/video materials, document review/editing, and foreign language instruction.

Qualifications

• Must be CAT I, CAT II, or CAT III linguist with English ILR level 2+ and security vetting as required.
• Experience providing foreign language instruction to adult students.
• Ability to conduct consecutive, accurate translation and interpretation of conversations and activities.
• Willingness to live and work in harsh environments and high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation in person or virtually.
• Translate written, electronic, audio, or video materials.
• Review and edit documents for accuracy and clarity.
• Deliver foreign language instruction in classroom or virtual environments.
• Support multiple requirements across YSG and TU portfolios as needed.
