Job summary

Centene is seeking a Public Programs Coordinator to triage and resolve access to care issues and coordinate services with programs carved out of the health plan contract in California. You will collaborate with internal teams, serve as liaison to public agency programs, and support regional centers and California Children's Services, with remote work available in California.

The role requires California Medical Assistant Certification and 3+ years pediatrics experience; compensation includes

Qualifications

Associate's degree, completion of Vocational Nursing School, Medical Assisting or Pharmacy Technician Program.
Minimum three years of combined clinical and healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Triages and resolves access to care issues for members.
Collaborates with multiple Health Net Departments to resolve member issues.
Liaisons with public agency programs and referrals for HELП program.
Receives and resolves care coordination referrals from Customer Services.
Conducts escalated service coordination on complex cases and monitors through resolution.
Supports Regional Centers, School Health Integration and California Children's Services with in-person meetings.
Prepares conflict resolution documentation for Appeals and Grievances.
Prepares and submits monthly and quarterly reports to compliance.
