Job summary

Graphable is seeking a Public Health Informatician to lead the planning and technical groundwork for moving health data into a cloud-based platform for South Dakota’s Rural Health Data Atlas.

The role is long-term, full-time, remote (with occasional travel to SD) and requires 3–5 years in informatics with a public health background. You will collaborate with state agencies to modernize data feeds and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a public health setting.
• Knowledge of health data standards and public health data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan how public health data moves from state systems to the new cloud-based platform.
• Develop and maintain data feeds from state agencies and information systems.
• Support data governance, metadata, and data quality across sources.
• Assist migration of existing dashboards onto the new platform.
• Apply data exchange protocols to ensure reliable data flow.
• Monitor and resolve data-flow issues.
