Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in AUSTIN is seeking a Data and Systems Modernization Liaison to advance public health data initiatives and lead cross‑program efforts on electronic case reporting, data integration, and modernization.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating or managing complex projects with multiple programs and stakeholders.
• Experience with public health, healthcare, research, data systems, informatics, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze workflows, data requirements, and program operations to recommend improvements.
• Experience preparing or reviewing technical, research, project, policy, or program documentation.
• Masters or Doctoral degree in public health or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of the Environmental Epidemiology and Disease Registries Section with latitude for initiative.
• Provides leadership for electronic case reporting, data modernization, data integration, and cross‑program initiatives.
• Manages complex projects including scope, requirements, timelines, testing, and risk management.
• Serves as liaison between Section programs, agency IT, contractors, budget, and partners.
• Supports IRB submissions, data-use activities, and related documentation.
