Qualifications

• Four (4) or more years of experience providing financial management expertise in creating, managing, and refining complex financial budgets.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field and two (2) or more years of experience providing financial management expertise in creating, managing, and refining complex financial budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field and one (1) or more years of experience providing financial management expertise in creating, managing, and refining complex financial budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support financial management activities for assigned programs and offices.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial activities to support responsible use of public resources.
• Provide financial information, analysis, and technical assistance to program leadership and staff.
• Identify financial issues and work with appropriate partners to resolve them.
• Coordinate financial activities related to grants and contracts, including monitoring, tracking, and reporting.
• Support timely completion of grant and contract requirements.
• Provide guidance to program staff on financial processes and requirements.
• Serve as a backup to the Financial Operations Supervisor when needed.
