Washington State Department of Health is seeking an experienced Office Financial Lead to manage budgets, grants, and contracts for the Office of Financial Services. This remote role supports Immunization programs within the Prevention and Community Health division and partners with program leadership to ensure sound fiscal management.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accurate financial reporting, and process improvement while acting as a backup to the Financial Operations Supervisor.

Formación

• Four (4) or more years of experience providing financial management expertise in creating, managing, and refining complex financial budgets.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field AND two (2) or more years of experience providing financial management expertise in creating, managing, and refining complex financial budgets.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field AND one (1) or more years of experience providing financial management expertise in creating, managing, and refining complex financial budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and support financial management activities for assigned programs and offices.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures, and financial activities to support responsible use of public resources.
• Provide financial information, analysis, and technical assistance to program leadership and staff.
• Identify financial issues and work with appropriate partners to resolve them.
