Job summary

Spring Health is seeking an independently licensed mental health professional to join the Trauma Care team in a fully remote role. You’ll perform initial assessments, coordinate care, and refer members for PTSD and complex trauma within our Trauma program.

Requirements include LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, and a minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience with PTSD. The role emphasizes high-touch member support and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across systems.

Qualifications

• Required mental health license: LCSW, LMFT, LPC.
• 2+ years of clinical care experience with PTSD and Complex Trauma.
• Experience with motivational interviewing, diagnostic assessment, and triage.
• Knowledge of phased-based trauma treatment models and EBPs for PTSD.

Responsibilities

• Telephonic screening, brief intervention, and referral to a trauma specialty provider.
• Apply active listening and psychoeducation to support member goals.
• Use Judith Herman’s trauma model to provide stabilization and engagement support.
• Identify level of care, facilitate referrals, and coordinate with Spring Health providers.
• Provide consultation on mental health and family issues as appropriate.
• Offer in-the-moment support and safety planning when needed.
• Communicate with members and providers through email and maintain records in an EHR.
• Collaborate with care support, provider operations, and benefits/billing for a smooth experience.
• Assist other specialty care teams as needed and participate in meetings and trainings.
