Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted licensure as Psychologist, PhD or PsyD (PSYPACT Psychologist).
• Experience treating clients with eating disorders.
• Knowledge of models/theories of eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and related issues.
• Understanding of co-occurring conditions and continuum of care.
• Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific considerations in practice.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must not be opted out of Medicare.

Responsibilities

• Establishes positive rapport with clients.
• Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders.
• Creates and updates individualized treatment plans.
• Meets with patients regularly to provide services and adjust plans.
• Coordinates services for each client.
• Conducts ongoing assessments of progress.
• Facilitates group therapy sessions.
• Engages families as partners in treatment.
• Maintains thorough patient records.
• Ensures confidentiality and safety protocols.
• Communicates with outpatient providers for continuity of care.
• Attends weekly team meetings.
