• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited program.
• Full licensure in the applicable state required.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience.
• CPI and CPR training required for psychotherapist working in inpatient psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate patient care according to identified needs.
• Manage clients in crisis using appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques.
• Write treatment and discharge plans based on diagnosis, age and clinical presentation.
• Collaborate with guardians and community agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
• Document patient care accurately and timely, including billing information.
• Design, plan and provide effective patient education.
• Maintain open communication and collaborate with the healthcare team for patient outcomes.
