Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant human services field is required.
• Full licensure in applicable state is required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
• CPI and CPR training are required for psychotherapists working in inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates patient care according to identified needs.
• Manages clients in crisis using appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques.
• Writes treatment plans and discharge plans tailored to diagnosis and age.
• Collaborates with guardians and community agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
• Documents patient care accurately in the medical record and handles billing information.
• Designs and delivers patient education.
• Maintains open communication with the healthcare team for better outcomes.
