Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Michigan seeks a part-time/contractual Psychiatrist to provide remote psychiatric care for a substance use treatment facility. The role involves evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in a fully remote setting.

You will manage treatment plans, monitor effects, and contribute to integrated care delivery while ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation and EHR use. Relevant credentials and licensing are required to practice in the state.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion of psychiatric residency.
• Current medical license in the state of practice.
• Current DEA registration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DSM criteria, psychiatric principles, and crisis assessment.
• Experience with electronic health records and e-prescribing preferred.
• Substance Use Disorder treatment/MAT experience preferred.
• Must obtain QMHP/QIDP credentials within 120 days of hire.
• Must successfully complete, background checks, and LEIN check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and medication management.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing psychiatric support.
• Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and treatment progress.
• Collaborate with counselors, nurses, case managers, and other providers.
• Support integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and electronic health records.
• Communicate effectively with the treatment team regarding client care.
