Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license in state applied to
• Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) or Board Prepared within 5 years of residency
• Possess and maintain DEA number and licenses to prescribe medications
• Strong understanding of psychiatrist assessment, diagnosis, and medication management
• Knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric treatments

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans in outpatient settings
• Provide medication management and therapy to a diverse patient population
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Stay current with advancements in psychiatric treatment and research methodologies
• Make referrals for psychotherapy and collaborate with other mental health professionals for comprehensive care
• Maintain confidential client records and comply with legal/ethical standards
• Advocate for clients' needs and rights to access services and medications
• Other duties as assigned
