Job summary

Legion Health is seeking clinically excellent psychiatrists to collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs through secure telehealth. This nationwide, remote, part-time contractor opportunity combines flexibility with meaningful clinical responsibility and support from a modern clinical organization.

You will provide guidance, chart reviews, mentorship, and independent prescribing decisions where permitted, while Legion handles recruiting PMHNPs and managing operations.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Excellent clinical assessment and medication-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience delivering care remotely via telehealth.
• Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced PMHNPs treating low- and medium-acuity psychiatry patients using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide timely guidance on diagnoses, treatment plans, medication management, and clinical escalations.
• Review and authorize prescriptions, including controlled substances when legally permitted and clinically appropriate.
• Be available during agreed working hours and at the end of PMHNP shifts when required by applicable state rules.
• Mentor clinicians and reinforce Legion's clinical standards, documentation expectations, and responsible-prescribing protocols.
• Help Legion expand access to high-quality psychiatric care across the United States.
