Job summary

Iris Telehealth is seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a fully remote outpatient role with an FQHC partner in West Virginia. The position focuses on adults 18+, with a 24 hours/week schedule Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, and no on-call or NP supervision.

You will work from home with dedicated support staff, competitive compensation at $175 per hour, and licensing/credentialing assistance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry.
• Active West Virginia medical license required.
• Availability for 24 hours per week, Mon–Wed, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.
• Experience treating adults across the full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses.
• Telehealth experience preferred.
• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum psychiatry care for adults 18+.
• Conduct 60-minute initial evaluations and 20-minute follow-ups.
• Work with dedicated support staff and FQHC partner.
• Maintain high-quality care with no on-call requirements.

About the Role

• Setting: 100% Remote | Outpatient FQHC based in West Virginia
• Schedule: 24 hrs/week | Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET
• Patient Population: Adults ages 18+
• Clinical Focus: Full spectrum of psychiatric diagnoses
• Appointment Times: 60 minutes for initial evaluations | 20 minutes for follow-up visits
• Patient Volume: Approximately 8–12 patients per day
• Support: Dedicated support staff available for administrative needs
• No on-call or NP supervision required!
