Job summary

UpLift & BetterHelp – Redefining Access to Mental Healthcare. This part-time, contract (1099) psychiatrist role is fully remote, allowing supervision of NPs and patient care via telemedicine.

License verification is required, with state-specific collaboration duties. Compensation varies by state, and earnings are activity-based; physicians control their schedules while remaining responsive for collaboration obligations.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Psychiatrist with active clinical experience.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in priority states listed.
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred.
• Experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners is preferred.
• Comfortable prescribing medications when clinically appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients via telemedicine.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, including prescribing medication when appropriate.
• Provide supervision to Nurse Practitioners in states requiring collaboration.
• Complete chart reviews and provide timely consultation support to NPs.
• Coordinate care with UpLift’s network to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Share product and workflow feedback to improve care delivery.
