University of Phoenix is seeking an Associate Faculty to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in nursing disciplines in a fully online environment. You will engage with students, deliver course content, and align with program objectives to drive academic rigor and student success.

The role requires extensive nursing education credentials and PMHNP experience, with responsibilities including advisement, mentorship, and participation in faculty governance and events.

Qualifikationen

• Must have experience with Neuropsychiatric Pharmacology.
• RN license and APRN certification in the state of residence/practice.
• National Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing practice as a PMHNP with at least 2 years of current experience.

• Deliver course content, learning activities, and student assessments using the University’s current course materials.
• Provide students the opportunity to grow and achieve academic success by maintaining an engaged classroom presence and responding to inquiries.
• Oversee student clinical/practicum/mentorship experiences as required by the course and program.
• Attend faculty meetings and university events; stay updated with course updates and policies.
• Maintain professional knowledge through certifications, publications, and professional involvement.
• Instruct and perform other online duties as dictated by program requirements.
