Job summary

University of Phoenix seeks an Associate Faculty to instruct undergraduate and graduate courses in Nursing, focusing on psychiatric mental health for adult and geriatric populations. You will engage students through structured content, timely feedback, and robust clinical supervision in line with the Faculty Handbook and course outlines.

Qualifications

Must have experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Adult and Geriatric practice experience.
Doctor of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a PhD in Nursing OR a Doctorate with a Master’s in Nursing.
Master’s degree in Nursing; Degree from a regionally accredited institution; active nursing licenses.

Responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses per objectives and course outlines.
Provide engaging instruction and timely responses to student inquiries.
Coach, tutor, and supervise clinical/practicum experiences as required.
Attend faculty meetings and university events; update knowledge on course standards.
Maintain professional knowledge through certifications, conferences, and networks.
