Job summary
Child Care Aware will hire a Provider Support Specialist to coordinate statewide professional development and provider support programs. The role involves administrative, technical and programmatic tasks across workforce initiatives, learning platforms, and outreach, with travel to meetings and events.
It is a primarily remote position serving Virginia’s child care workforce. Ideal candidates have experience in child care or adult education, knowledge of LMS tools, and strong collaboration
Qualifications
- Minimum two years in child care resource & referral or related field
- Experience training adult learners
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and platforms
- Proficient with standard software and web-based tools
Responsibilities
- Coordinate professional development and provider support services
- Assist with program implementation and monitoring
- Provide administrative and technical support for workforce initiatives
- Travel to meetings, trainings and events as needed
