Job summary

Astrana Health, Inc. is seeking a Provider Network Growth Specialist to analyze and expand our Value-Based Care provider network in Virginia.

You will recruit providers, coordinate contracting, and partner with internal teams to optimize network performance and compliance. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will use data-driven insights to prioritize opportunities, engage providers, and drive strategic growth across markets while balancing regulatory requirements and patient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in provider network development, healthcare operations, managed care, or related field.
• Experience in provider relations, contracting, or network development preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel within the service area.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Understanding of CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network composition, performance, and market dynamics to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
• Develop and execute provider recruitment strategies aligned with value-based care goals.
• Evaluate providers using defined criteria including quality, capacity, and alignment.
• Prioritize recruitment efforts and manage a portfolio of opportunities.
• Lead provider contracting activities ensuring alignment with strategy.
• Review provider agreements for regulatory alignment.
• Support negotiation discussions by identifying key issues and risks.
• Partner with stakeholders to implement provider agreements.
• Guide providers through recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Conduct meetings to present opportunities and influence participation.
• Improve provider engagement strategies and onboarding experience.
• Build relationships with key provider stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Value-Based Care, Business Development, Operations, Credentialing.
• Provide insights to leadership and inform development strategies.
• Analyze provider pipeline and performance data for decision-making.
• Maintain network development tracking tools and data integrity.
• Prepare summaries and recommendations for leadership.
• Identify trends to improve strategies and efficiency.
