Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is hiring a Provider Field Representative for the Southern California region. This remote role focuses on provider outreach, training, and billing support, with travel to multiple CA regions as needed.

You will handle inquiries, conduct claims research, and deliver training on billing processes, policy updates, and compliance. Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of CMS-1500/UB-04 are preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in healthcare including insurance/provider support/IT/operations
• Provider billing experience required; CMS-1500 and UB-04 knowledge preferred
• Independent work with escalated issues; Medi-Cal/Medicaid experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills; Excel for tracking/reporting
• Willingness to travel within CA and other regions

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service by responding to inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
• Facilitate and deliver engaging training sessions (virtual and in-person) on billing, policy updates, compliance
• Provide one-on-one support for billing questions and claims research
• Research claim trends and analyze data in Excel to improve workflows
• Coordinate outreach, training, and service schedules; track progress and deadlines
