Job summary

OPIS s.r.l. is an International CRO seeking a Proposal Analyst to join the Business Development & Clinical Solutions team. You will analyze RFPs, prepare proposals and pricing strategies, and ensure compliant, timely submissions in a remote, multi-country setup.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain archives, and contribute to high-quality outputs while leveraging Excel and Office tools. Fluency in English and a background in economics are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics is mandatory.
• Clinical background is ideal.
• Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office; excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proposal Analyst experience within a CRO is a plus.
• English fluent.
• Planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and analyzing RFPs and preparing high-quality proposals according to the request.
• Preparing grids to be filled out for departmental colleagues.
• Optimizing and rationalizing time usage to guarantee the effectiveness of the work.
• Organizing work activities in all cases when the operations can be executed independently.
• Participating in internal organizational meetings.
• Timely maintaining the electronic archive of the RFPs.
• Studying and updating on the technical aspects needed to fulfill the tasks assigned.
• Suggesting and implementing pricing strategies to improve the quality of the project.
• Ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy rules and reporting deviations.
• Positively advising ways to improve the Proposals outputs, including documents.
• Drafting budget proposals reviewing customer specifications and getting feedback from stakeholders.
• Delivering the complete draft of the proposal to the Business Development Manager/Associate/Director by deadlines.
• Working in synergy with the Vendors office.
• Working in a team to create competitive budgets and identify unaccounted cost.
• Strategically cooperating with the Head of Proposal Management Unit.
