Job summary

McNeil & Co. is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Underwriter to handle new business and renewals for a diverse portfolio including Real Estate, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Wholesale Distribution.

The role emphasizes underwriting, servicing, and growing the book through broker relationships and cross-functional collaboration with the property product team to drive profitable growth. This is a hybrid/remote position with a competitive compensation range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of underwriting experience, preferably in Middle Market Monoline Property.
• Experience underwriting, servicing and growing a real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare and wholesale distribution book.
• Knowledge of organizational and regulatory rules and adherence to underwriting authority.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage new business production and renewals.
• Market to assigned brokers to bring in opportunities and grow profitability.
• Collaborate with property product team and package underwriters to drive profitable growth.
• Maintain profitability across the portfolio while meeting production goals.
• Coordinate Risk Services & Claims Service plans for key accounts.
