Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist to handle accident and weather-related homeowner, commercial, and large-loss claims. You will be the first contact for insureds, explain coverage, estimate damages, and guide them through the claims process with remarkable service.

You will conduct on-site inspections, gather evidence, evaluate coverage, and negotiate settlements within policy limits while utilizing mobile tools in a remote-field setup from Albany, GA.

• Ability to investigate problems, evaluate information, and make well-supported decisions.
• Ability to interpret detailed policies, guidelines, or technical information and apply them accurately.
• Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar concepts and apply them in practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections and assessments of property damages for residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other involved parties to gather information and resolve claims efficiently.
• May interact with parties who express strong emotions or concerns about inspections or resolutions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries promptly.
• Gather evidence, document findings, and prepare detailed reports to support the claims handling process.
• Investigate and adjust both personal and commercial property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
