Job summary

Hair Shunnarah is seeking an all-star property casualty litigator to join our growing practice in a remote, full-time role. You will handle civil litigation matters, including managing cases in state and federal court, conducting discovery, and taking or defending depositions.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of civil litigation experience, is admitted to the Illinois bar, and is eager to learn the business of practicing law with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• At least one year of civil litigation experience, preferably in property casualty.
• Experience managing cases in state and federal courts; managing discovery; taking/defending depositions; writing petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Must be admitted to practice in the State of Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assist with case management across state and federal courts.
• Prepare petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs; draft and file legal documents.
• Coordinate discovery, depositions, and related evidentiary matters.
