Job summary

V3 Companies, a multidisciplinary AEC firm, seeks a Project Surveyor to contribute to career-defining projects. This remote role covers several U.S. locations and allows collaboration with a 450+ team of designers, engineers, and scientists across North America.

You will primarily perform CAD tasks for surveys, prepare layout calculations, and manage CAD surface models. The role requires 3+ years of related experience and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience performing similar work.
• Degree or courses in related area is a plus.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Able to read civil, architectural, and structural drawings for construction layout.
• Effective communication with clients and field staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Primarily perform CAD tasks in preparation of construction surveys and ALTA, boundary, topographic surveys.
• Prepare and coordinate construction layout calculations for field staff.
• Manage CAD-generated surface models and produce contours, cross sections, and profile drawings.
• Perform project research and setup.
