Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for the Medicaid Clinical Operations team to oversee cross-functional initiatives across clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and business transformation.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, align projects with organizational goals, and collaborate with clinical, operational, technology, and compliance stakeholders to ensure readiness and successful outcomes. The role is remote with up to 10% travel and requires flexibility to work Eastern Time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience, including planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation through completion.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and at least one project management tool such as Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be available to work Eastern standard time zone hours no matter what time zone you reside.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and successful project outcomes.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics while ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Monitor project performance, proactively manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Facilitate governance processes, executive reporting, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
• Partner with clinical, operational, technology, compliance, vendor, and business leaders to gather requirements, drive alignment and engagement.
• Coordinate cross-functional implementation and process improvement activities to support operational readiness, deployment, and adoption of new processes, systems, and capabilities.
• Manage project forecasting, compliance requirements, and adherence to organizational standards and governance practices.
• Leverage project management best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and project delivery excellence.
