Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc. in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross‑functional teams and drive projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring products meet scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining clear customer communication.

The role covers scope review, engineering deliverables, drafting, purchasing, shop coordination, invoicing, and status reporting. Requires 5+ years PM experience in manufacturing, an associate or bachelor's degree, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Preferably in manufacturing or with rotating equipment.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify project paperwork and coordinate with Commercial team for discrepancies; coordinate changes, durations and deliverables with marketing/sales.
• Review project scope and schedule engineering deliverables; interface between shop, customers and vendors.
• Develop drawing lists with engineering and track progress; write work orders based on drawings and instructions.
• Write requisitions and manage purchase orders; track through to delivery and assist in communications between vendor and RMS.
• Write all work orders and prepare shipping documentation; coordinate final shipping cost and customer contact information.
• Review payment terms with accounting; prepare invoice requests and support progress reports.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding project status and deliverables.
• Adhere to company policies including drug and alcohol screening and background checks.
