Job summary

Daktronics is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Large Sports Venues department. You will oversee projects from sales through final payments, coordinating with customers, internal teams and subcontractors to ensure on-budget, on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, strong communication skills, travel up to 20%, and willingness to relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technology, or a related field.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to travel, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to travel by air and ground and pass MVR checks.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Applicants must be 18+ years old.
• Daktronics does not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Sales support to understand project requirements and prepare scopes.
• Manage orders from design through manufacturing.
• Coordinate project schedules and subcontractors.
• Travel to project sites and accompany site visits.
• Communicate with sales, customers, and project teams.
• Provide project analyses and manage budgets.
• Identify opportunities to improve profits and negotiate changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
