Job summary

Peterson Power Systems is seeking a Project Manager 3 to lead large, complex projects on a remote basis across listed states in the U.S. This role emphasizes on-site leadership, design/build coordination, and close collaboration with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and has at least five years of directly related construction PM experience, with strong scheduling, budgeting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or closely related field with a minimum of five years of directly related project management experience in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage complex, long-duration projects.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work on-site as needed.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and customers to meet scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Represent Peterson Power Systems on-site at customer locations during delivery and commissioning.
• Schedule and direct regular meetings with subcontractors and customers to track progress.
• Manage project documents including permits, payroll, schedules, and safety guidelines.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and purchase orders using PM software.
• Coordinate logistics, vendor selection, and site operations to meet schedule and quality requirements.
• Act as primary liaison between Peterson and the customer throughout the project.
