Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking a Project Manager to oversee remote, multi-workstream data analytics and BI initiatives for federal customers. The role blends project management and business analysis, translating needs into actionable plans and driving delivery from initiation to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT/software/data projects, PMP certification, and experience with Jira/Confluence in a federal context. Strong communication and SDLC understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing IT, software development, data analytics, or business-transformation projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in a project-delivery environment.
• Experience supporting federal agencies (DHS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent data analytics and BI workstreams.
• Lead project kickoff activities; establish objectives, scope, stakeholders, requirements, delivery approach, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned workstreams, building strong relationships with federal stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Perform business-analysis activities, including stakeholder interviews, requirements elicitation, process analysis, user-story development, acceptance-criteria definition, and documentation of business needs.
• Translate stakeholder needs into actionable project plans, backlogs, and roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, meeting minutes, risk and issue registers, and other project artifacts.
• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and resourcing constraints.
• Lead and support Agile delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release-planning activities.
• Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to maintain and prioritize backlogs in Jira.
• Use Confluence and other collaboration tools to create and maintain project documentation, requirements, decisions, process flows, and stakeholder-ready materials.
• Support change control activities (creating and submitting CRs).
• Support project governance activities (preparing and coordinating Privacy Threshold Agreements).
• Prepare clear, concise, and audience-appropriate project communications.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT, software development, data analytics, or business-transformation projects.
• Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple workstreams or projects from initiation through implementation.
• Demonstrated experience performing business-analysis activities including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, process analysis, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of the SDLC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in a project-delivery environment.
• Experience supporting federal agencies (DHS preferred).
