Job description

A leading renewable energy organization is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project delivery, governance, and stakeholder coordination for a project controls and scheduling team supporting large-scale capital projects. This individual will be accountable for driving project execution across planning, design, construction, and implementation phases while ensuring alignment with governance requirements, schedules, budgets, and business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strong program or project leader with experience managing complex infrastructure, renewable energy, utility, construction, or capital projects. This person will serve as the central point of coordination across cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and project partners while proactively managing risks, issues, dependencies, and overall project performance.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of project or program management experience
• Experience supporting renewable energy, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), utility, infrastructure, or similar capital projects
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and reporting processes
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• PMP certification or equivalent PMI-aligned certification
• Experience within utility-scale renewable energy, transmission, energy infrastructure, or construction environments
• Experience supporting project controls, scheduling, or PMO functions
