Job summary

Storage Solutions in Westfield, IN is seeking a Project Estimator to join the Warehouse Equipment Implementation team. The role focuses on generating proposals that meet customer needs, working with Project Managers, Coordinators, and Account Managers through the solutions development phase of the sales cycle.

You will evaluate customer scopes, produce takeoffs for BOM and labor, and collaborate with vendors for pricing and timelines to support handoffs to project managers.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience as an Estimator or in a project management or sales support role.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, AutoCAD and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers to evaluate customer needs and design the best solution.
• Own proposal generation from start to finish and provide formal proposals.
• Review customer-supplied scopes and RFPs.
• Create project takeoffs to build BOM and labor scopes.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for pricing, lead time, and timelines.
