is seeking a high-performing Project Engineer to lead the development, testing, and delivery of mission-critical satellite flight software for a US Government program. In a customer-facing role, you will manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring schedule adherence, cost tracking, and technical performance metrics are met, with primary contact responsibility for government customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software development projects for aerospace/defense.
• Knowledge of real-time embedded systems preferred.
• Strong communication for high-visibility briefings and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end engineering lifecycle for satellite flight software from design to delivery.
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and track progress against baselines.
• Provide technical direction to matrixed teams and coordinate with US Government customers for reviews and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate schedule, cost, and technical risks; escalate blockers to leadership.
