Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of progressive engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
  • Valid driver's license and travel up to 40%.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of regulations, construction practices, and risk management.
  • Effective communication and leadership; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Independently execute engineering designs, studies, and technical calculations.
  • Manage portions of projects or small projects from scoping through final deliverables.
  • Review and develop technical specifications, construction documents, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct and oversee field investigations, construction monitoring, and data analysis.
  • Evaluate and mitigate project risks; contribute to QA/QC processes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review their work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as a technical liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support proposal development and provide input on scopes, schedules, and budgets.
