Job summary

Shermco Industries is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead the project controls function within the PMO, establishing standards, templates, reporting requirements and governance to provide visibility into cost, schedule, risk and forecast performance on high-risk programs.

The role partners with Senior Project Managers, Program Managers, Operations, Finance and Estimating to improve predictability, identify performance issues early and support timely corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in project controls, project management, cost control, scheduling or related functions.
• Experience supporting complex, multi-disciplinary projects in industrial services, construction, utilities, electrical services, EPC organizations, data centers, or comparable project environments.
• Certifications such as PMP, CCP, PSP, PMI-SP or similar are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project controls standards, procedures, templates, reporting requirements and governance for the PMO-supported work.
• Oversee cost, margin and forecasting controls including baseline tracking, ETC, EAC, revenue, and forecast changes.
• Provide scheduling controls, baseline schedules, look-ahead planning, and critical-path reviews.
• Develop project controls reporting and dashboards for leadership and portfolio visibility.
