Terravanta Inc. seeks an experienced Project Controls professional to support complex energy and infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and financial analysis with a focus on developing Power BI dashboards for project performance.

Qualifications

Finance, accounting, or mathematical background.
Minimum 7 years in cost controls, cost management, or project controls.
Experience with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Visio) and SAP; Power BI.
Electric utility experience required.

Responsibilities

Budgeting and forecasting: support budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and reporting.
Develop and maintain project budgets, baselines, forecasts, and expenditure plans.
Aggregate budgets across funding sources, jurisdictional allocations, asset types, and cost drivers.
Monitor project performance and identify budget variances and cost trends.
Stay up-to-date on project controls innovations and industry best practices.
Cost controls & financial analysis: detailed cost-control analysis including budget vs actual, commitments and accruals, contingency management, Earned Value Management (EVM), cost-per-unit.
Reporting & industry knowledge: prepare reports, dashboards, recommendations, and cost forecasts; create Power BI dashboards; stay informed of trends and innovations.
