Job summary

Energy Vault, Inc. is seeking a Project Accounting Manager to lead financial analysis and project accounting across the project lifecycle. The role requires experience in energy or construction sectors and proficiency with NetSuite’s Project module.

You will partner with FP&A, project delivery and finance to ensure accurate reporting, perform variance analyses, and support governance and SOX controls. Domestic and international travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 8–10 years in accounting/finance with progressive responsibility.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Strong Excel, analytical and technical accounting skills; capable of independent problem solving.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite Project module.

Responsibilities

• Support project setup and maintenance in NetSuite, including coding and reporting structures.
• Prepare project cost reports, budget-to-actual analyses, and variance explanations.
• Monitor POs, receipts, vendor commitments, accruals, and cost activity for forecasting.
• Assist with monthly EAC and updates, risks, and opportunities.
• Support revenue recognition via cost tracking and milestone validation.
• Assist with project billing and cash-flow forecasting and documentation.
