Job summary

Space Training and Readiness Command in California seeks a Program Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for manpower requirements and programs for Delta 11 55TH TRS. The role provides essential administrative support across GTC, DTS, GPC, ADPE, Records Management, UTM, SAPR, and security programs.

The specialist will liaison with unit divisions to support programs, oversee manpower and resources, and assist in organizing related requirements as directed by the squadron commander.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
• Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
• Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, problem resolutions, and development of concrete action plans to solve problems.
• Ability to gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy and posses the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to plan and organize management programs and functions of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander for manpower requirements and programs.
• Provide substantive administrative support to multiple programs including task management, GTC, DTS, GPC, ADPE accounts, Records Management, UTM, SAPR, safety program and unit security program.
• Liaison with unit divisions supporting unit programs and personnel issues and assist in oversight of manpower, resource, facility and other related requirements as designated by the Sq/CC.
