Job summary

Centene is seeking a seasoned project/program manager for a remote US-based role. You will oversee multiple cross-functional initiatives, drive efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver strategic outcomes.

A Bachelor's degree is required with 5+ years of PM experience; Master’s preferred, and prior managed care exposure is a plus. You will lead planning, execution, and governance for programs, coordinating resources, budgets, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years project implementation, product or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and improve service levels while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Develop strategies to realize improvement opportunities and align resources.
• Manage multiple projects through full life cycle including plans, schedules, budgets and closure.
• Use project management tools and techniques to manage projects effectively.
• Maintain detailed project documentation including action items, issues and risk plans.
• Provide leadership and communicate project status to stakeholders with executive summaries and presentations.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Lead cross-functional meetings to meet stakeholder expectations and company objectives.
• Provide functional and technical knowledge regarding program requirements and operations.
