Job summary

Wonderschool is seeking a Program Manager to run state and enterprise engagements. You will own the delivery plan, client relationships, and coordination between clients and product/engineering teams across active projects.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role with cross-functional collaboration across government and enterprise clients. You will ensure what we promise to government and enterprise clients is delivered on time, on contract, with the paper trail to prove it, while building

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing complex software delivery programs or projects.
• Experience with contractual milestones, UAT, and change control.
• Excellent written communication for status reports and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to manage plans with teams you do not manage across organizations.
• Preferred: state government child care programs experience (licensing or subsidies).
• Nice to have: state human services or eligibility systems or procurement familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery plan for each engagement across all workstreams.
• Lead weekly status, steering meetings, escalations with agency staff and IT.
• Maintain dependency registers and data on schedules and decisions.
• Manage scope, acceptance criteria, change requests, and new work intake.
• Deliver client-ready outputs and manage risk across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with engineering on integration timelines with state systems.
• Develop a repeatable program playbook as we add states.
