Job summary

Apollo Information Systems is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the portfolio of Cybersecurity Services for the State of Texas. This customer-facing, hands-on role manages engagements from intake to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery, first-submit acceptance, and solid financials.

Based in Texas with remote work, you will coordinate with Apollo leadership, SAIC, and DIR, while maintaining schedules, budgets, and governance.

Qualifications

Delivery experience in cybersecurity, IT managed services, or technology consulting.
Experience delivering under a government contract (state, local, education, or federal).
Direct ownership of a program budget including forecasting, spend tracking, invoicing, and margin reporting.
Ability to pass CJIS background checks and meet security requirements.
Based in Texas.

Responsibilities

Own the full delivery lifecycle for the DIR MSS contract portfolio.
Maintain program- and project-level plans, milestone schedules, and RAID logs.
Run the full delivery cadence including intake, scoping, estimate, execution, delivery, and closeout.
Serve as the primary liaison between Apollo leadership, business units, SAIC, DIR, and customers' stakeholders.
Set the communication and escalation cadence for each engagement.
Own the program budget across all projects, including forecast, staffing, and margins.
Identify cross-project risks and issues threatening objectives.
Manage CJIS program governance and background requirements.
Contribute to PMO process improvements and capture performance data.
Develop update reports for stakeholders to ensure alignment.
