Job summary

The Funders’ Committee for Civic Participation (FCCP) is seeking a thoughtful and self-motivated Program Manager to advance FCCP’s external programming and grantmaking discussions. You will report to the Executive Director and collaborate with the program team, operations, and membership staff.

The role emphasizes managing member groups, educational webinars, and annual convening planning, with strong emphasis on communication, strategy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 years of experience in organizing, outreach, or membership management.
• Ability to facilitate and lead strategy conversations and efforts.
• Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and possess exceptional follow through.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Google Suite required. Experience with Slack and CRM tools preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Technically savvy with strong computer aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Event coordination experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a small team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage various member program groups and working groups, including outreach and engagement with members to determine goals, outcomes, and activities.
• Work with staff and partners to create and implement topical work plans and facilitate member communications and virtual meeting logistics.
• Research, write and design relevant program content and materials, and track developments in the field.
• Coordinate educational webinars: calendar, agendas, speaker prep, registration, outreach, and logistics.
• Support annual membership convening agenda development and execution.
• Assist with member management: draft program content for newsletters and coordinate website, database, and email lists.
