Job summary

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Office of the Inspector General, seeks a PICS Unit Supervisor to lead audit staff and oversee program integrity and compliance activities across Medicaid, FoodShare, WIC, IRIS, and FamilyCare. The role offers a flexible schedule, daytime hours, and remote work up to five days per week, with HQ in Madison, Milwaukee, or Waukesha.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting audits, quality reviews, record reviews, or compliance reviews.
• Experience developing or implementing new types of audits or quality/compliance reviews.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role (e.g., delegating and assigning work, mentoring and training, leading team projects).

Responsibilities

• Supervise audit staff and review program integrity and compliance activities.
• Direct the two provider-type focused teams and matrix-manage Data and Research Analysts.
• Ensure the quality of work products through pre-reviews for compliance with Medicaid rules and policies.
• Evaluate ROI of projects and decide whether to continue, modify, or discontinue initiatives.
