Job summary

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Program Chair, Financial Planning & Financial Management to lead the Bachelor of Science in Financial Planning and the Associate and Bachelor of Science in Financial Management within the Ross College of Business.

This is a full-time, 12-month position with responsibilities in academic leadership, curriculum oversight, faculty supervision, teaching, assessment, and engagement with industry.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Finance, Financial Planning, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the discipline.
• Five years of university-level teaching experience.
• Five years of progressive leadership or management experience.
• CFP® and/or CFA® credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the programs through academic leadership and curriculum oversight.
• Lead faculty supervision, teaching, assessment, scholarship, and industry engagement.
• Ensure program alignment with accreditation standards and CFP Board requirements.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate lead and adjunct faculty; manage course scheduling.
