Job summary

Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Program Chair for Financial Planning & Financial Management to lead the B.S. in Financial Planning and the A.S./B.S. in Financial Management within the Ross College of Business.

This is a 12-month, full-time academic leadership role with strategic direction, curriculum oversight, faculty supervision, teaching, assessment and industry engagement. The ideal candidate holds a doctoral degree in Finance or related field, with a record of teaching

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Finance, Financial Planning, or closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of university-level teaching experience.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible leadership/management experience.
• CFP and/or CFA credentials preferred; strong industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the programs within the Ross College of Business.
• Lead curriculum development, revision, and alignment with accreditation standards.
• Oversee course scheduling, staffing, and faculty development.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate lead and adjunct faculty.
• Engage with industry and professional organizations to advance program goals.
