GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Professional Fee (ProFee) Inpatient & Outpatient Coding Auditor to join our team in a remote, part-time capacity, Monday-Friday.

The ideal candidate will audit hospital-based coding, ensure accuracy and compliance, and provide constructive feedback to coders. This role requires CPC/CPMA certification and expertise in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional fee coding in hospital inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Minimum 2 years of coding auditing, QA, compliance, or education.
• Active CPC or CPMA certification.
• Strong ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II knowledge with modifiers.
• Knowledge of CMS, NCCI, OCE guidelines and payer policies.
• Experience auditing and coaching coding staff.
• Proficiency with EHR, encoders, auditing platforms, and revenue cycle systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of professional fee inpatient/outpatient coding for accuracy and compliance.
• Review records for ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS assignments and modifiers, including E/M levels.
• Identify coding gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Provide feedback and education to coding staff.
• Monitor quality trends and collaborate with leadership to drive improvements.
• Stay updated on coding updates and payer guidelines.
