Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a fully remote PSIRT Commander to coordinate and lead responses to product cybersecurity vulnerabilities, security incidents, and regulatory reporting obligations. You will serve as the central point of contact across R&D, Product Security, Compliance, Legal, and leadership to ensure timely assessment and closure of security issues.

The role includes regulatory readiness activities (CRA, CISA attestation, audits) and governance, with compensation at $60-75/hour

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 4-5 years of experience in security incident response, product security, software/hardware development, SSDLC, vulnerability management, or security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end response to security vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Perform intake, triage, and severity assessment of reports.
• Organize incident response meetings with stakeholders.
• Guide escalation, remediation, communications, and regulatory reporting.
• Track timelines, actions, evidence, and closure activities.
• Coordinate disclosures, advisories, and stakeholder communications.
• Support crisis-level response and executive reporting.
